I help clients with a wide range of computer needs including setting up of new computers and networks, troubleshooting, upgrades and protection against such nasties as viruses and spy ware.

Data Backups

Over the years of helping people with their computers I've noticed a big problem area is data protection. Simply put; are your files safe against hard drive failure, virus attacks or theft?
Do you backup your data?
Most people do not backup their data and they end up learning the hard way, oftern loosing years of important work and contacts.
It doesn't have to be that way. Nowadays data backups are very affordable and fairly easy to setup.

System Backups

It's even easy now to backup not just your data files but also your entire system.
Have you ever considered what it takes to be up and running again after your computer dies?
At the very least it takes a full day to reinstall your computer's operating system, download all the updates for it, reinstall all of your programs (if you can find your original CD's), configure your email,
restore your data (if you even had a data backup system) ,etc. If you're not able to do the work yourself you'll have to hire someone and pay them a hefty fee. But with a system backup in place your computer can be up and running again within a couple of hours, as it was before the disaster.
